Michael Gough ("The Came from Beyond Space") stars in this less-than-hysterical spoof of horror films.
As an evil surgeon, Gough slices the ham pretty thick in his portrayal of Dr. Strom, brain experimenter and patient decapitator. Also starring Robert Askwith, Dennis Price, and Skip Martin. Directed by Anthony Balch. _________________ ____________

Well, with no replies in over three years, I thought maybe the trailer would encourage somebody to comment on this movie.
The narrator sounds vaguely familiar . . . like, that Rod Somebody-or-other. Or an imitation of same.

Strange as it may seem, I don't feel encouraged.

I actually ran into Michael Gough at a sci-fi con in Scotland in 1981. I said, "Pardon me, Mr. Gough", (pronouncing it 'go').
And he answered, "Young man, it's pronounced 'Gow', rhymes with cow." _________________ Common Sense ISN'T Common |

And all these years i thought it was pronounced "Guff." |

Here's a list of logical assumptions one could make about how to pronounce Michael Gough's name, based on other words which have "ough".
through — Michael Goo
enough, rough — Michael Guff
though, dough — Michael Go
trough, cough — Michael Goff
And yet the correct pronunciation isn't like any of these! _________________ ____________
