I've watched this show since it first started, and I'm pleased to report that it's been renewed for next year.
Smart is the new sexy, and these guys prove each week that genius is worth its weight in gold when you've got a problem that only brain power can solve.
If you haven't seen it, give it a try. If you saw it and didn't like it, chalk it up to your grumpy mood that day and try it again.
It's not the greatest show on Earth, but it is enjoyable for ladies and gentlemen, not to mention children of all ages. Come one, come all — season 3 is about to start (in six months or so. )
Meanwhile, here's the promo for season 2's finale on Monday, April 25th.

Hey, wait a minute!
You mean All Sci-Fi has NO fans of this wonderful series who would like to add a reply this thread?
Not even ONE!
Okay, let me rephrase that, because my pal Bulldogtrekker has watched every episode of this series with me while we chatted on Facebook, and he likes it as much as I do.
And according to the promo I saw this week for the recently DRVed episode we haven't shared yet, the season finale seems to include a scene in which the drop-dead gorgeous Katharine McPhee wants to get randy with someone on the show!
If you're a hot-blooded, red-blooded American, this is the moment you've been praying for since this series began!
In the promo which shows us this tantalizing glimpse of Miss McPhee, she says three words in a soft and sexy voice.
"Buckle up . . . nerd."
If you've been watching this series for three seasons and understand exactly what this means, her statement will give you serious heart palpitations. _________________ ____________

Thanks for the recommendation - I watched the first episode of season one last night - well, it seemed a logical place to start - and thought it was great!
One thing does slightly puzzle me - in the "html" style logo, why is it "end scorpion" rather than "start scorpion"...? |

One aspect of Scorpion that bothers me just a little is the way it works so hard to keep each episode fast paced and exciting, even when this sometimes rushes the stories.
The Scorpion team comes up with brilliant solutions to problems in seconds flat (which is fine, because they're geniuses), but they execute their plans so quickly that it often looks too easy.
I understand that the show needs to keep things moving along quickly, but when this happens every single week, it strains credibility a bit.
The writers make the plots very complex, so the team has to do many clever things in minutes flat. But since this isn't just an action series — it's a science geek series, too — they've got an audience who likes to think about the plot elements. So, the writers shouldn't play too fast-and-loose with logic and realism.
A show about smart people has a smart audience. And we don't have short attention spans. _________________ ____________

Season four is due to begin on September 25th.
I've watched and enjoyed all three seasons now, so thanks for the recommendation! Maybe some episodes do go a bit strong on the "12 minutes and 22 seconds remaining" — but generally such things are logical, and the "family" works pretty well. And Katharine McPhee is way cute...

|
|
Waterworld & Legends alumna Tina Majorino has booked a key recurring role on the upcoming fourth season of CBS drama series Scorpion. Majorino will play Florence, a chemist who moves in next door to the team. Florence does not initially ingratiate herself to the gang, but once she is accepted, that causes even more problems. |

That sounds like a useful addition to the cast. Here's another photo from the same shoot:

I continue to enjoy this fine show every week, and even though some episodes are better than others (which is true of any series), the average episode is pretty damn good.
Did I just hear somebody say. 'Please post a picture of Katharine McPhee?"
Well . . . if you insist.

Netfix doesn't stream it, but they do have the DVDs, although the "search" results didn't show it, so I had to do a bit of hunting to find it, for some reason.
Actually, I have downloads of seasons 1 - 3 (but not the final season, unfortunately, so I can upload them for any member of All Sci-Fi who'd like to have them.
Here's a great moment from this fun show.

Back in the late 20-teens, when there were sites that let us download scads of movies and TV shows, I downloaded 64 episodes of this wonderful series.
That's all of season 1 and 2, plus 19 episodes of season 3.
I don't remember why I didn't get all 93 episodes, but at least I'd got about 2/3 of the series.
I think I'll put them on a flash drive and watch them on rainy days this summer. _________________ ____________

Gentlemen, I've only re-reached episode 16 of my 64-episode download from this magnificent series. But I'm so re-impressed with the qualty of this series that I decided to buy the box set of all four seasons from Amazon!
After all, the series has 93 magnificent episodes — which means I'll be getting 29 more episodes. just for the low price of $72.58.
<— LINK
That's just $2.50 per episode for the ones I don't have with the download!
And yet, if I watched each one of those on Amazon Prime (which I have), it would cost me $2.99 just to rent each one — after which they'd longer be available to me!
Guys, if you're a science fiction fan, you need to enjoy this brilliant series! It champions the heroic role of intellectuals in our modern world, along with our importance to the survival of mankind!
By God, The Age of the Brainy Folks has finally arrived! _________________ ____________
