TODAY’S TOPIC: Frankly, ladies and gentlemen, I’m appalled by the fact that for the last 80 years, Hollywood has largely ignored the work of Edgar Rice Burroughs — with the exception of a plethora of Trazan film’s, few of which accurately portray the remarkably intelligent and well educated Lord of the Jungle the way he’s described by the great ERB.
Long before The Land Unknown and Jurassic Park, there was Pellucidar — the amazing world inside the Earth, populated by cavemen, dinosaurs . . . and so much more!
