From A-I-C-N:

Hola Dannie aqui,

Netflix has released the trailer for their new film TAU, and it brings about memories of the film Cube and of course, our favorite supercomputer turned sentient robo-mind Hal from 2001: A Space Odyssey. The only thing 2001-like is the ominous voice of the smart house that is torturing the character Julia played by actress Maika Monroe. You may recognize Monroe from her work on It Follows, Independence Day: Resurgence, and The 5th Wave. So what about this has my attention? Well, one of my favorite actors is cast as TAU, Gary Oldman. Oldman is a tremendous talent most of you should know of this brilliant performer, but for those that are not too familiar with him here, it goes... Oldman won an Oscar for his work on 2017's Darkest Hour, he played Dracula in Bram Stokers DRACULA, and was the quintessential punk Sid Vicious in Alex Cox's timeless classic Sid and Nancy. Oldman's career spans 36 years of stellar performances 94 documented on IMDB; you dear reader should watch them ALL!

TAU is directed by Federico D'Alessandro this is his first feature-length film debut. Federico mainly known in Hollywood circles for his work in the art department on films like Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, The Avengers, The Avengers: Age of Ultron, "Captain America and many other geek-worthy projects! TAU is written by Noga Landau who many may know from her work on the TV movie The Haunted and her writing on the series "The Magicians. TAU hits Netflix screens on June 29th so keep an eye out! What do you all out there in Geeklandia think? For me, anything with Gary Oldman is worthy of a watch!

Stay Strong, Live Good, Love Movies!
