Wow, Eadie, you beat me by a few hours! Embarassed

I was getting this poster ready to start a thread (expanding it horizontally, just for fun) and I was just about to start the new thread when I discovered you'd already done it!

Nice work, young lady. Very Happy

Here's two different trailers, back to back.

I went along to see the movie this Tuesday, and found it as much fun as volume one. There is quite a lot going on during the closing credits; a mention of an "Adam" seems to hint at the Marvel character Adam Warlock joining the cinematic universe shortly. The fun doesn't end until we see a continuation of Stan Lee's cameo, so he gets the last word!

Here's a different expansion of that poster:

Even the black-hearted space pirates couldn't bring themselves to harm Baby Groot, as he was just too "adorable"...

And I've just scanned in the free 'character card' the cinema, er, movie theatre, gave me - one of three:

Any movie with Kurt Russell, Sylvester Stallone, and David Hasselhoff in it has to be great, yes...?
Very Happy

Actually the one I posted at the top was this poster before I modified it —

________

— and I had fun making it wider using Paint.net, because I knew it would be a little better that way. Notice I trimmed a bit off the top so it wouldn't be quite so tall after I made it wider. Very Happy

I think my fan-made version looks pretty good compared to the "official" wide version which you posted. Cool

I saw this last week too and loved it!

Stan's cameos are wonderful, and explains how he shows up in every MARVEL film!

Look for another Howard the Duck cameo too!

That is indeed Adam Warlock's cocoon at the end, and it explains the golden skin color.

All and all 11 stars out of 10!!

I finally saw this one today, and it's a beautiful movie.

The concepts are ambitious, the action is remarkable, the humor ranges from pretty funny to very funny, the FX are stunning, and the oldies are enjoyable.

But being beautiful isn't quit enough, I'm afraid.

The Kurt Russell character was a bit over the top, and by the halfway point in this 2 hour 18 minute movie, I was just a bit lost, story wise.

Maybe if I watch it a second time in a few months I might warm up to this overly complicated story, but this first viewing went from "Wow! I love it!" to "This is getting a bit weird," to "Oh hell . . . another sequel that trashes its origins." Sad

Perhaps I'm being too hard on the movie, but it seems like another film that offers non-stop action to keep modern audiences from getting bored.

I think the problem, Bud, is that you're not that familiar with the original source. The idea of the planet EGO being a sentient entity and the concept of the Celesiials is part of Stan Lee / Jack Kirby's idea of the ETERNALS as followed through by the movie as a precursor to the following ETERNALS's film..

Hopefully, a lot of this is cleared up in the third GUARDIANS film.
