Bulldogtrekker and I are grateful to Krel for calling our attention to this terrific unsold pilot!

It's another example of a great premise that was extremely well produced. Why it didn't become a series can only be the result of SyFy being unwilling to spend the money to maintain the high standard which the pilot displays.

The story is very imaginative, the characters are interesting, and the pacing of the plot is perfect, allowing the viewer to ponder where the story is headed.

I watched the first 20 minutes of Timeless immediately after finishing Rewind, and I was very disappointed in the rushed pacing of the story, compared to Rewind, which does a masterful job of presenting its premise, developing its characters, and pacing its story.

I didn't finish the Timeless download because the audio was not in stereo, and the great stereo for the Rewind download, which has a terrific score, enhanced my enjoyment while I watched it with headphones on (which I always do).

The Timeless pilot episode will be rebroadcast tomorrow (October 7th), so I'll watch it with stereo sound. Hopefully that will enhance the experience and I'll enjoy it more.

Bud and I watched Rewind and it was excellent. Neither one of us had ever heard of it, much less seen it. Krel, thank you for posting about it.

I can't say which one I liked better.

Glad to be able to contribute. I had forgotten about the pilot until I saw the commercial for "Timeless". It struck me as looking familiar, but I couldn't remember where. The funny thing is that I found the name by putting "time travel pilot" into the YouTube search window. "Rewind" was the first one to come up.

Although I haven't watched all of Timeless yet, I was less impressed by the 20 minutes I did watch than I would have been if Rewind hadn't been so much better. It just excelled in so many ways!

Maybe I'll like the parts I haven't seen yet more than the first 20 minutes.
