______________________________________________

Thesse days there's a big market for older TV series. Quite a few channels present shows from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s.

A few of the channels which offer daily walks down memory lane include —

FETV (Family Entertainment Television)

MeTV

COMET TV

The shows which I've often watched recently include —

Great comments, Bud! I agree with you on most of them.

You should give BLAKES SEVEN a look. Especially the first few.

The only one the list left off is DRAGNET ! I know it can be repetitive and corny, but that makes it all the more fun to watch!~~ The crossover shows with ADAM 12 are really gems.

I am a huge Dragnet & Adam-12 fan. I greatly admire that Jack Webb produced television series that truly depicted what it was really like to be in law enforcement. Jack was inspired by a real life detective he met during a police film. The detective distained the Hollywood baloney about cops that were created for movies and television. This inspired Jack to created series where the stories were based upon actual LAPD files. They would tell it accurately to the public and not go in for over-the-top car chases & gunfights that 99% of the movies and TV shows love to present.

Let's not forget these gems as well:

Mr Ed
Dream of Jeannie
The Rifleman
Have Gun Will Travel
Rawhide
The Honeymooners

There is also Antenna TV that offers up a plethora of oldies but goodies.

In the days of my perpetually horny youth, I'd watch Mr. Ed just to drool over Miss Connie Hines, the lovey wife of good old Wllbur!
Twisted Evil

______________

Allan Lane was the voice of Mr. Ed. Lane starred in several B-move Westerns.

I think the show should have explained Mr. Ed's ability to talk as being somehow caused by the fact that the spirit of diseased cowboy from the 1800s possessed the horse.
Very Happy

Mr Ed was the illegitimate son of Francis, the talking mule!
