I really enjoyed this film when I first saw it, and still do. If I remember correctly, somewhere in my magazines I have one with an article on Gorgo that shows the original concept art. The sketch I'm thinking of was FAR superior to the lumbering pile of rubber that appeared in the movie, which (I think) the designer was very disappointed about.
When I can, I'll see if I can unearth it and scan the art if anyone's interested.
I assume you've all seen the sequel?

Bravo!
That short film is beautifully done. The fine actors deliver their straight-faced performance beautifully, and the editing is absolutely perfect!
Thanks for sharing that with All Sci-Fi's members, Tim.
Of course, this whole thing was all done just as a lark . . . right? I mean, the notion that Gorgo never really existed is quite ridiculous, don't you think? We all know that he ( . . . I mean, SHE) did in fact swim up the Thames River and attack London.
My goodness, that's like saying Godzilla never attacked Japan! After all, both events have been immortalized by famous artists! And they wouldn't do THAT just for lark, now would they?
Good heavens, no! :shock
