"The Simpsons" Does Star Trek During Last Night's Closing Credits
by Kayla Iacovino. TrekMovie
After an interplanetary episode of The Simpsons last night, the show ended with some rather familiar closing credits played to the Star Trek The Original Series closing theme. Check out the video after the jump, and see how many references you can name!

The Simpsons do (Sic?) Trek
In last night's episode of The Simpsons, "The Man Who Came to Be Dinner", we got our first ever glimpse of Rigel 7, home to big green aliens Kang and Kodos. When the Simpson family mistakes something called "Rocket to Your Doom" for an amusement park ride, they end up on an alien world where the inhabitants try to eat them in a giant fondue. Over the closing credits, we're treated to the a Simpsonified version of the Star Trek TOS end credits, which includes Marge as a blue orion slave girl, Homer fighting something resembling the Gorn, Lisa as the Borg Queen, Bart nervously crawling through a Jeffrey's tube, and more. See how many references you can get. And, feel free to nitpick away" what did they get wrong? Honestly, Bart is clearly supposed to represent Scotty (he's even holding his hands the way James Doohan would to try and cover up his missing finger), but he is wearing a blue shirt!

Looks like none of the crew are wearing the right color shirt.
Doohan was missing a finger? (The things you find out after nearly 50 years!) _________________ ...or not...
