Wow! That artwork is incredible! So much better than any of the other 20,000 Leagues comics.

The artist took a few liberties with the interior of the Nautilus, such as this picture window instead of the beautiful round port.






He also seems to have borrowed some ideas from Mysterious Island

True, Bud. The round port that would iris open and close in the Disney film is marvelous and can't be beat.

Agreed! I love submarines and starships with good views! Cool

And I confess I'm quite proud of the way I rendered the side port and the bridge port in my painting.










The bridge ports definitely have the "crocodile eyes" look that Harper Golf wanted the Nautilus to have.

And notice that the green "running lights" above the bridge ports look even MORE like crocodile eyes! Very Happy
