When they do the "CGI re-make of Forbidden Planet from 1956", they can do more than just recreate a hi-def, 3D, IMAX version, they can also include changes that correct the flaws which the studio's premature released of the film caused!

That's both awesome and kind of sad in a way. There's almost no reason to shoot on location anymore.

I can't help but wonder why Bud likes this so much when he disapproved of the colorized versions of Harryhausen's films? The argument that they improved the films to the point of the approval of the present day viewer should stand as well.
