Cinefantastique Vol 8 Number 2 & Vol 8 Number 3

As you can see there are other pictures added. They were there to enhance the original discussion and provide insight to what the article didn't cover, such as the advertising campaign, the TV guest appearances, what happened to various items such as the Id footprint cast; etc.

Great job, Butch!

A suggestion: The smaller typeface in this Cinefantastique article makes it much less readable than the Science & Fantasy Film Classics article in your other thread.

Try making the jpegs the largest size Photobucket allows. I noticed that these are one setting down from the largest size -- the 800 X 600 setting. I'm sure your original scans are larger than that. The 1,024 X 768 size on Photobucket would make the pages over 168px wider than they are now, and thus clearer.

That should help.
Very Happy

I am re-posting from new albums, CFQ Single Issue Large CFQ Double Issue Large and Science Fantasy Classics Large, to see how that looks.

Butch's wonderful post with all the pages of the Cinefantastique article needed a little help from me to make the text a bit sharper. I've been worked on that project for the last two days and I just completed it this morning.

Despite my best efforts, not all of the text is legible even after I worked to improve the clarity. But most of it is readable if you zoom in on the jpegs enough, and the article is a gold mine of information about this amazing movie! Cool

If anyone finds a site which provides even better jpegs, please post the link here and I'll replace the images in Butch's posts with the improved versions.
