Good work and congrats, Bud.

I'll attempt to contribute more but the problem with OLD sci-fi (my area of interest) is that they aren't making it anymore...so there is only so much I can say Smile.

I'll work on it.

Au contraire, monsieur!

Consider the recent posts in my Thinking outside the "plot" series, in which I pondered the concepts of the movies and expound on them by thinking, "If THAT'S true, then THIS would be true as well!"

Here's a few examples the films I had fun with.

This Island Earth

Journey to the 7th Planet

The Land Unknown

Battle Beneath the Earth

And especially this one . . .

The Thing from Another World

Even though the basic nuts-and-bolts of movies like these have been discussed extensively, the concepts they present are like seeds in our minds, sprouting new ideas which grow into elaborate visions of unmade sequels and unfilmed scenes we desperately wish we could watch.

Give it a shot, Brent. It's the funnierest thing I know of! It's probably almost as cool as building models of the spaceships from these magnificent movies! Very Happy
