Good Lord, Bulldog!
This is brilliant!
Shades of Wicked and Pirates of Penzance !
It's better performed than many professional musicals I've seen!
Also, the music and lyrics are spot on! |

2 hours 31 minutes... I've downloaded that for watching at a convenient time, 2.38 GB for the 1080p version. It does look like fun! |

Well, I think this is a lot of fun!
Plus, I've fallen in love with the Andorian scientist Tak- ya!
Two of the best songs are her "In Any Case" and McCoy's "Dammit Jim----I'm a Doctor!"
You're gonna love it! VERY well performed! |

Bud and I watched this musical today. It was good but some of the casting choices for the female cast members were odd. The Andorian female seemed to have the character of Nurse Chapel. Ironically, I liked the brunette actress who played Nurse Chapel. And I very much liked the music.
My advice is to watch the video and form your own opinion.

McCoy's song — "Dammit Jim, I'm a Doctor" — is a clever takeoff on Gilbert and Sullivan's "I am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General". The melody is very different, but the lyrics are delivered in the same rapid manner, and it has the periodic choruses which repeat parts of the lyrics.
The song starts as the 22:40 mark. Compare it to the Gilber and Sullivan song it parody's so well.

And just to keep this thread current and relevant, here's a Gilbert and Sullivan parody from the Western Australian Symphony that I think is damned clever.
