______
Acquanetta repeats her role from "Captive Wild Woman" as the gorilla turned into a gorgeous girl by scientist J. Carrol Naish (played by John Carradine in the first film). Milburn Stone (Doc from "Gunsmoke") returns as the animal trainer who loves the gorilla-girl.
Evelyn Ankers co-stars. Director Reginald LeBorg reused several scenes from the original. The gorilla-girl is killed (again), but she's revived (again) in the third film, "Jungle Captive" (with a whole new cast).
Enjoy this one compliments of YouTube!

I found this trivia item on IMDB.
Australian actress Betty Bryant was originally cast as Ann. She fell ill as filming started and a doctor was called in by the studio. Unfortunately for Bryant, the doctor developed an unhealthy obsession with her and began stalking her at the studio and making things difficult for the production. Bryant was replaced by Amelita Ward nine days into filming (source: "Universal Horrors" by Tom Weaver, Michael Brunas, and John Brunas).
This is what Miss Brant looked like. I'll bet she was pretty upset about the fact that the obsessive doctor caused her to loose the role, nine days into the production! I wonder if she sued him.
